Attorney Bonnie Rooney (formerly Bonnie Lanigan) handles a wide variety of cases across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Attorney Rooney has a diverse practice and has successfully handled cases in the Superior Court, District Court, Probate & Family Court, as well as the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.  She is also licensed in the State of Florida and has handled probate and estate cases in Florida.


Attorney Bonnie Rooney represents her clients with care and compassion.  She tailors each case to the client’s individual needs and desired outcome.  Bonnie understands the emotional challenges that her clients face.  She can be delicate to the sensitive issues at hand, but also a fierce advocate in the courtroom. A skilled negotiator, Attorney Rooney has achieved desirable settlements for her clients.  She is also a successful litigator and has personally handled numerous cases through to trials, achieving great results for her clients.


Attorney Bonnie Rooney (formerly Bonnie Lanigan) is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.  Attorney (Lanigan) Rooney started her legal career with the Law Offices of Tracy Wilson, P.C. in Quincy, MA.       

Attorney Rooney has served as a court-appointed “ARC” attorney through the Attorneys Representing Children Program, a court-appointed Conciliator with the Norfolk County Bar Association Conciliation Program, and as a volunteer “Lawyer of the Day” assisting pro se litigants in the Probate & Family Court.  Attorney Rooney currently serves as a Norfolk County Bar Advocate in the District Courts.
